Zac Allentuck is no stranger
to theater and sound technology. Recently, Zac spent more than seven years
directing project management and sales for a local home video and audio
company specializing in design and installation of residential and commercial
home theaters. Zac’s expertise includes coordinating, planning and
installation of audio, video and lighting systems; collaborating with
architects, contractors and interior designers; and researching and implementing
the latest technologies.
Earlier in his career, Zac
spent eight years immersed in the recording industry, working as an engineer
for numerous studios across the country, including Sony Music Studios
in New York City, Coast Recorders/Dan Alexander Audio in San Francisco,
Teatro in Oxnard, CA and 360 Degree Productions, Grateful Dead drummer
Mickey Hart’s Occidental, CA studio. Zac’s studio engineering
credits include work with such acclaimed artists as Mickey Hart, Joe Satriani,
Marianne Faithful, Neil Diamond, Love & Rockets, Willie Nelson, Iggy
Pop and Jefferson Starship. Zac has also worked as a live sound technician
for The Breeders, Daniel Lanois and Emmylou Harris.
Having earned master’s
degrees in communications, social work and education administration, Cindy
Allentuck’s professional life has encompassed both graphic design
and education, helping children with special needs. Dedicated to serving
the educational and developmental needs of local children and their families,
Cindy is currently the program coordinator for the Institute For Children
With Autism And Related Disorders, based in Riverhead, NY. Prior to joining
ICA, Cindy held various supervisory, educational and administrative positions
on the East End of Long Island. She was a recipient of the Long Island
Business News “40 Under 40” Leadership Award in 2006.
